Background
The 西萨克拉门托市 is nearing construction on the new I Street Bridge Replacement Project between the Sacramento Railyards and 西萨克拉门托's growing Washington District. 萨克拉门托大道, one of the City's most significant east-west transportation corridors extending from Interstate 80 to 3rd Street will soon connect across the Sacramento River into the Railyards Specific Plan area. The purpose of the 萨克拉门托大道 Complete Street Plan is to articulate the current challenges on the corridor and recommend achievable solutions to implement a cohesive, 全面的眼光. The 萨克拉门托大道 Complete Street Plan will provide the framework and recommendations for the transformation of a crucial east/west transportation corridor from a vehicle centric arterial to a Complete Street multimodal corridor.
